This is a program mainly for “career changers” Those that started their careers in one field and looking to switch to begin teaching. The New Teacher Project operates in cities Nationwide. This programs looks and recruits the best of the best. These programs often have minimal course work required to begin teaching, but give excellent support and guidance on the job. The belief is that someone that already had great leadership skills and experience becoming proficient in one field and transfer that experience into the teaching. The programs have an excellent track record.
